How to Recruiting the Best Talented

Introduction

“Recruitment is the process of actively seeking out, finding and hiring candidates for a specific position or job”. Recruiting the best talent or experts are quite difficult task and HR should be smart and use strategies for this task.

Recruiting candidates requires a lot of work including evaluating what skills and qualifications are necessary for the position, developing an accurate job description, advertising to the right candidates and sorting through applicant resumes. All this occurs before the interview stage even begins. And if you didn’t get a good pool of qualified applicants, you must start the entire process all over again (Sandage, 2020)

Strategies for recruit experts or best talent

According to Mucha, (2019) there are 9 strategies that can implement by HR department when they make recruitments.

1.     Make it known your company is a great place to work.
2.     Make your employees your best recruiters.
3.     Be honest about compensation.
4.     Consider hiring part-time or gig workers.
5.     Simplify job applications.
6.     Embrace remote employees.
7.     Build relationships with high schools and colleges.
8.     Maintain a talent pipeline.
9.     Add a personal touch.

The Recruitment Process

While the recruitment definition and process varies from company to company, there are some basic steps that any employer can take to make recruitment smoother and more successful. Don’t post “phantom jobs.” Because these phantom jobs make the labor market look tighter than it really is, they are a problem for economic policy makers as well as for frustrated job seekers.  Design jobs with realistic requirements. The recruiting process begins with a search for experienced people who aren’t looking to move. Reconsider your focus on passive candidates. Understand the limits of referrals and measure the results. Test candidates’ standard skills. And revamp your interviewing process (Cappelli, 2019)

Conclusion

Recruiting is much more than process tracking. It is important to be smart and prudential when finding new candidates to your company. Continue to find new learnings, and adopt and develop your own unique approaches.
